François MAUJARD, holder of a degree in Economics, turned away from the world of finance following the subprime crisis in 2008. In search of meaning in his life course, he undertook a BTS in viticulture and oenology in Beaune .

After graduating, he succeeded in giving birth to Domaine Maujard-Weinsberg in 2016 by taking over the vines of three retired winegrowers from the Messin sector.

As soon as he settled in, François decided, naturally and with determination, to lead all of the 3 hectares he operates in Organic Farming.

Despite the vagaries of the weather and the difficulties encountered, the vineyard now represents 5 ha of vines in 5 villages on the slopes of the Moselle: Vaux, Lessy, Rozérieulles, Plappeville and Jussy, with 1.5 ha of vines planted in 2021.

2021, an apocalyptic and pivotal year for young farms.

Audrey PUCHALSKI, cash courier for 14 years, passionate about vines and wine and in full retraining, joins François on the Estate.

Investing body and soul, after her working hours, to keep a shaky farm going, she made it possible to limit the damage of a vintage to the incredible climatic conditions (frosts, mildew) which ravaged the vineyards of a large part of France.

2022 will mark the first campaign of a brand new promising duo of vigneron.es mosellan.es
